Qinghai Internet Celebrity Check-in Spot: Mengyuan Flower Sea

Known for its vast fields of canola flowers that bloom every July, Menyuan County is also a major oilseed producing area in the northwest region. The canola flower area in Menyuan covers 600,000 acres and is highly renowned compared to the southern Jiangnan region. Due to the sloping fields towards the river channels, standing on the river bank and looking from both sides, there is a breathtaking sight of golden yellow extending as far as the eye can see, with the flowing Haomen River in the middle, echoing the picturesque Qilian Mountains in the distance.

Menyuan Hundred-Mile Rapeseed Flower Sea

Located in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, Menyuan Hundred-Mile Rapeseed Flower Sea Scenic Area. There is a fee to enter the viewing platform at the top of the park, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the hundred-mile flower sea. Best viewing time: At the end of June, the rapeseed flowers will start to show small yellow heads, but it is not yet the time for large-scale blooming. From the beginning of July each year, this place enters the blooming season of rapeseed flowers, with the flowering period from July 5th to 25th, and the best flowering period from July 10th to 25th. The rapeseed flower scenery, along with the blue sky and white clouds, high mountains and flowing water, forest sea and grassland, and unique residential houses and beekeepers, create a unique and charming landscape that captivates countless tourists.
