Introduction

This wetland is one of the best preserved and largest wetlands in China, and is popular among photography enthusiasts. While touring the scenic area, visitors can enjoy vast brush grass meadows and endless vistas. The wildlife and plant life here are abundant, and it is one of the most important breeding grounds for red-crowned cranes in the world. Hiking up to the main peak at an altitude of about 720 meters, visitors can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire wetland. The most unique sight along the way is a lake island shaped like a leaf. At the mountain top, visitors can also enjoy views of the winding Root River and the city of Ergun, with houses layered in blue and pink during the day and offering a stunning sunset view in the evening.

Transportation
Starting from Hailar, you can take a passenger car from the bus station to the Labu Dalin bus station in Eerguna. After getting off, you can take the Eerguna 2 bus across the road to directly reach the wetland park. However, the bus is not very frequent, so if you are short on time, you can take a taxi instead.
