Introduction

The Baihua Forest Scenic Area is located 40 kilometers from Erguna City and covers nearly 1000 hectares of virgin forest. Legend has it that Genghis Khan once rested and camped here, expressing his belief in auspiciousness. At the same time, this was also a beautiful land that the Russians had once logged, but after witnessing the pure beauty of the birch trees, they laid down their swords. As a result, a beautiful and moving Russian song called "Birch Forest" was born and has been passed down to this day. Birch trees are the city tree of Erguna City and are a colorful "pure tree" with straight branches that seem to reach into the sky. The birch trees here are different from those in other places, with white trunks like snow and black raindrops dotted on the branches, radiating a deep charm. Birch trees have a wide range of uses, such as making birch bark paintings and decorations, and birch bark can also be used for roofing and firelighting.
