Introduction

The Qixianhu grassland is located near the northern part of Aershan City, 60 kilometers away from the city center, and is renowned as the third largest grassland in the world. It is one of the best preserved, undamaged, and unpolluted grasslands in the world, known as the "green paradise" and "northland jade". The Hulunbuir grassland has a natural grassland area of 125 million mu and a natural forest area of 203 million mu, with a per capita occupancy rate far ahead of the national average. In summer, the boundless green grasslands are filled with the sound of birds, herds of cattle and sheep, and galloping horses, giving people a firsthand experience of the beautiful scenery of the grasslands: "As far as my eyes can see, the sky is vast and the wilderness stretches. The wind blows the grass low, and cattle and sheep can be seen".

Transportation

1. Ersi Airport is the closest airport to Arxan, about 17 kilometers away. Tourists can take a flight to Ersi and then transfer to a bus to Arxan. 2. Arxan has a train station with four daily round-trip trains stopping at Baise and Shenyang North. 3. Arxan currently has a bus station with buses to and from nearby cities such as Ulanhot. Visitors can take a taxi or rent a car to Arxan after arriving in the city.
