Introduction

The Alshan Bai Lang Peak Scenic Area (Taor er River National Wetland Park) is located in the Bai Lang Town of Alshan City in Inner Mongolia, 35 kilometers away from the city center, adjacent to the S203 line, with the Bai Lang Station railway and 65 kilometers away from the Alshan Airport. The scenic area consists of Bai Lang Peak and Taor er River National Wetland Park, including ice edge stone sea, primeval forest, wetland ice and snow, rivers and lakes, natural landscapes, and cultural attractions. Bai Lang Peak has a highest altitude of 1511 meters, and there is an observation platform on the summit where you can enjoy the forest and Taor er River of Daxing'an Mountains. In addition, the scenic area widely carries out ecological tourism, cultural learning, and leisure entertainment, including Taor er River rafting, self-driving tour, fishing and hunting experience, forestry production observation and other activities. In 2014, the Inner Mongolia Bai Lang Taor er River National Wetland Park passed the acceptance of the State Forestry Administration. This wetland park covers an area of 1135 hectares and takes river wetland landscape as the main body, integrating natural and cultural landscapes such as forests, shrubs, swamps, mountains, and ice and snow. While protecting the natural ecology, you can learn more about wetlands and culture in the wetland science popularization and education center. It is worth visiting all year round.

(1) Departure from Ulan Hot: Starting from the city center of Ulan Hot, enter the S203 provincial road, and drive straight north for about 200 kilometers to arrive at Bai Wolf Town (Bai Wolf Peak scenic area is located on the right side of S203 road in Bai Wolf Town). (2) Departure from Arxan City: Starting from the city center of Arxan, turn left at the south bridge of Arxan and enter S203. Drive straight along S203 for about 28 kilometers to arrive at Bai Wolf Town (Bai Wolf Peak scenic area is located on the right side of S203 road in Bai Wolf Town).
