Introduction
Erguna River, located in the upper reaches of Heilongjiang Province, is a river that flows out of Hulun Lake after the Kherlen River flows in. It was originally called Erguna River. During the Mongol Empire and Northern Yuan period, it was an inland river of China. Since the signing of the Treaty of Nerchinsk between China and Russia in 1689, it has become a boundary river between the two countries. The Hailar River is its main tributary, with a length of 1666 kilometers and significant differences in terrain between upstream and downstream. From Aba Gaidui to Heishantou grassland hills, the river valley is open with many lakes and marshes, and water flow is dispersed while weeds and willow thickets grow. When the Gen River, Deerbulagang River, and Haur River merge from the right bank, the water volume increases significantly. From the rough sea map to the Jilin River section, the river valley becomes narrow with many sandbars and islands, and the water depth increases. Below the Jilin River, the river enters a gorge, with a narrower valley, steep mountains on both sides, a stable riverbed, smooth water flow, a width of about 200-300 meters, and a depth of over 2.5 meters, making it navigable. Erguna River is an excellent waterway and also has abundant water resources. Address Ergun City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
