Huating Lake Scenic Area is a national scenic spot, national AAAA-level tourist attraction, national water conservancy scenic area, and national agricultural tourism demonstration site. It is a brilliant pearl embedded in the land of East China and surrounded by mountains. The core scenic area is located in the southwest border of Anhui Province, only 4 kilometers away from Taihu County. It is on the tourism route of Lushan, Tianzhu Mountain, and Huangshan, 28 kilometers west of Tianzhu Mountain and overlooking Huangshan and Lushan across the river. The dam of the lake reservoir is 100 meters high and 500 meters long, majestic and magnificent, and it is the largest earth-rock structure dam in China. The reservoir has a capacity of 2.398 billion cubic meters, with a lake area of over 100 square kilometers, vast and impressive.
