The ancient city wall of Lu'an has a history of 560 years. The remaining parts of the wall silently tell the story of Lu'an's changes. The northern part of the wall near Yunlu Bridge is approximately 150 meters long and exhibits typical architectural features of the Ming Dynasty. The southern part of the wall was rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty after collapse. The ancient wall near the South Primary School in the north of the city still shows clear traces of stone foundations and brick drainage holes. It bears witness to the historical vicissitudes.
