Hua Xi Lou, also known as "The Great Guan Di Temple" or "The Shanxi and Shaanxi Association". It is called Hua Xi Lou because of its colorful theatrical decorations. In the 13th year of the Qing Dynasty's Shunzhi reign (1656), funds were raised to repair the Great Guan Di Temple. In the 15th year of the Kangxi reign (1676), a singing stage, known as the Red Pavilion, was built. The main building of Hua Xi Lou is the grand hall, with the theatrical stage as a supplement. The grand hall is 10 meters high, with the main hall at the back where a wooden statue of Guan Yu is enshrined, and statues of Guan Ping and Zhou Cang were originally placed on both sides (later destroyed by the invading Japanese army).

A dessert shop near the scenic area, small in size, clean and tidy, a nice place to rest. The signature dish is tofu pudding, which is really delicious. They have signature dishes such as white snow tofu pudding, brown sugar tofu pudding, ice-aged wine tofu pudding, and tiramisu tofu pudding, both beautiful and tasty. There are also many snacks nearby, making it a delightful experience to eat while wandering around.

Bozhou has been a major trading port since ancient times, and the financial industry has prospered since the Ming and Qing dynasties. With the development of economy and foreign trade, merchants gather and chambers of commerce are numerous. By the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, there were 33 small and large money houses in the city, and Nanjing Lane Money House was built in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. Its main business scope includes deposits, loans, currency exchange, issuance and exchange of money bills, and silver bills. With the development of urban construction, the original sites of money houses in Bozhou City have been mostly demolished and reconstructed, and only Nanjing Lane Money House is preserved relatively intact as a money house museum, open to the public.

This shop is very popular in Bozhou. It is crowded with diners, but it still has a serene atmosphere and is not noisy. There are many private booths, and the waiters wear face veils, which is quite hygienic. The restaurant is on the third floor of Wanda, making shopping, playing, and dining very convenient. I ordered the Stone Pot Hangjiao Bullfrog, which is spicy and a must-try dish. The frog meat is heated and preserved in the stone pot, and the spiciness gradually emerges. The meat is fresh and tender, and the taste of cucumber inside is also good. The Stone Pot Sauce Tofu is suitable for the elderly and children. It is not spicy and contains sea cucumber. The tofu is delicious, fried in oil and then steamed in the sauce, which is very tasty. The Hua Tuo Glutinous Rice Duck is a piece of crispy and fragrant duck meat on top of glutinous rice, which is not greasy. Highly recommend this shop.

The hotel has a high price-performance ratio and a very good retro style. There are many shopping malls nearby, as well as McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Walmart supermarket, which is very convenient. The hotel is very clean, the bedding is comfortable, especially the breakfast, which is very rich and comparable to a five-star hotel breakfast. The transportation is also convenient, the hotel is very quiet, and there is a dedicated parking lot. The guest rooms are also very upscale.

When visiting a city, it's a must-try to taste its most distinctive local cuisine. Checking in at the top restaurant in Bozhou, I have to say the popularity is well-deserved. Tried the beef pancake, priced at 14 yuan per pound, sat down and waited for the delicious dish to be served. The crispy pastry contains soft and flavorful beef filling. The satisfaction after taking a bite is truly amazing. Besides the beef pancake, there are also beef vermicelli dumplings, spicy tofu dumplings, and more, all priced at one yuan each and taste pretty good. Just be aware that the spicy tofu dumplings are slightly spicy, not recommended for children. The soup costs 3 yuan, similar to seaweed and egg drop soup.
