Introduction

Mount Tianzhu is a natural wonder, with its main peak resembling a "pillar holding up the sky", hence its name. It is known as the "number one mountain of the Jianghuai region", and has seven major scenic areas, such as the highest peak Tianzhu Peak, the mysterious valley known as the "number one granite secret cave", the Zhongguan Fort where Liu Yuan once resisted the Yuan Dynasty, and the mountain artificial lake Lian Dan Lake. In addition, it is also an important representative of ancient Wannian culture. Famous literati such as Li Bai, Bai Juyi, Su Shi and Wang Anshi have left nearly 400 cliff inscriptions here. Although transportation to Mount Tianzhu is not very convenient and the scenic area is not very big, there are fewer tourists here during weekdays, except for holidays and weekends.
