The first meal I had in Chengdu was recommended by a Sichuan food enthusiast. The reason was that it tasted like home-cooked food. There was a noticeable difference between the chicken cubes here and those in Beijing. Overall, it had a slightly stronger vinegar flavor, which balanced out the sweetness. It reminded me of the flavors at Xinchuan Ban in Beijing, which might meet the standard. The portion of rabbit meat was huge, and the taste was decent, with a dominant flavor of pickled peppers and ginger. It was quite spicy for someone who isn't used to it. The highlight was the sea bass, which was extremely fresh and flavorful. The seasoning couldn't overshadow its natural deliciousness, especially the cheek meat, which was very satisfying. The tea had a creamy melon seed flavor, giving the sensation of snacking on melon seeds while drinking tea. The restaurant had a long waiting list, and the service and environment were satisfactory with no significant issues. Overall, I would recommend it.

Visited [Xiaolongkan Hotpot] in Chengdu on the first day. Found them online and went to the restaurant located on the second floor. It's a large place with a lot of people. Many people come here specifically for it. Recommended dishes: lotus root slices, red sugar rice balls, beef tripe, blood tofu, and kelp. The highlight is the delicious soup base. It was my first time trying an oil-based hotpot, and it was really good since they don't have a spicy option like Sichuan hotpot.

This hotel is a newly opened hotel in October. It has excellent facilities, especially the service, which is even better than a 5-star hotel. The family room I stayed in was spacious and had thoughtful amenities such as smart toilets and separate wet and dry bathrooms. The breakfast was exquisite with a variety of options, and they also offered complimentary afternoon tea and warm soup in the evening. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming, deserving of praise. In short, it is a highly recommended hotel.

The specialty of this restaurant is various kinds of tofu, especially the Jianmen Pass Tofu Feast! The tofu has a rich flavor and tastes amazing when topped with dipping sauce.

Jianmen Pass is filled with tofu shops everywhere, and this restaurant is recommended online. Although the storefront is small, the taste is really good, and I also saw locals eating here. The best dish is the sesame tofu in the first picture, which I personally think combines fried milk and caramelized sweet potato. It has the sweetness of caramelization, the crispness of the fried outer layer, and the softness of the tofu inside. It's creative and delicious. There's also a trick to the stuffed tofu. The whole tofu has no visible cuts, and I really don't know how the meat filling is stuffed inside. Mapo tofu respects the traditional flavor and goes well with rice. Braised tofu meatballs, on the other hand, are relatively ordinary. In short, it's delicious and recommended.

Langzhong Ancient City is surrounded by water on three sides and backed by mountains on one side. It has beautiful scenery and has been known as the "Fairyland of Langyuan" since ancient times. It has a history of more than 2300 years and was once the capital of the Ba Kingdom in the mid-Warring States period.

The interior decoration of the store has a vintage style, but it feels a bit dim overall. The dishes are fresh, and the soup base is slightly different from the hot pot we have locally. The hot pot in our area usually has more oil in the soup base, while theirs has less. In my opinion, it doesn't have much flavor, but it actually tastes good when you eat it. I have to praise the service attitude. The waiters seem to be slightly older in age, but their service attitude is excellent. They are caring and attentive in their words, considering everything from the customer's perspective. Although they are simple things, it gives a warm feeling of good service.
