Dawagengzha is a 360° viewing platform that can rival Niubeishan and Jiaodingshan. It has clouds and a sunrise over the golden mountains, and is also the youngest sister peak of Siguniangshan. Dawagengzha is located in Gari Village, Qiaoqi Township, Baoxing County, Sichuan Province. Dawagengzha means "beautiful sacred mountain" in Jiarong Tibetan language.

Day1: CHENGDU > Ya'an

Chengdu - Ya'an - Lushan - Baoxing - Garizong Village - Dawagengzha - Summit Saturday morning, depart at 07:30 sharp. The car will pass through Chengdu, Wenjiang, and Qionglai, as well as the Qingyi river (the largest and deepest canyon in western Sichuan), before finally arriving at the entrance of Dawagengzha scenic area in Garizong Village. The normal travel time is about 6 hours. (Lunch is not provided, but local meals are available for purchase at the foot of the mountain.) We expect to start hiking at 13:00 and arrive at the summit at around 19:00 at a normal pace. Accommodations will be arranged and participants can enjoy free time. Dinner will be a Tibetan style hot pot. After dinner, participants can play games and enjoy the starry sky and Milky Way before ultimately falling asleep.

Dawa - Baoxing - Lushan - Ya'an - Chengdu. After waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise, I prepared to pack up my luggage after breakfast. We started to head down the mountain at 8:00 and arrived at the foot of the mountain around noon. Then we returned to Chengdu.
