Introduction

There are 18 peaks in Kangbaula arranged in order from west to east, including Nanchong Peak, Gongbao Peak, Dejie Peak, Neibaozong Peak, Dayan Peak, Nigu Peak, Shanyang Peak, and Maoniu Peak. The naming of these peaks has a strong religious color. Due to differences in distance, height, and angle, these peaks present a colorful appearance, some of which look like a towering pillar going straight into the sky, while others look like a beautiful young girl. "Danxia" is a term of geomorphology, which was initially discovered in Danxia Mountain, Renhua County, Guangdong Province. It was named after the unique rock structure composed of Triassic sedimentary rocks. These wonderful peaks have spanned hundreds of millions of years of geological changes, and have undergone thousands of years of erosion by wind and snow and cutting by the Yellow River to form its charm today.
