Introduction
Located at an altitude of 3820 meters, the geographical location of the La Ji Mountain Pass is very important. The Ningguo Highway passes through here, and there is also a road leading to Huangyuan on the south side of the pass. The north slope of La Ji Mountain is a cliff with bare rocks exposed. Except in summer, the slope is often covered with white snow. The south slope is gentle and mild, suitable for grassland and pasture growth. Therefore, this is one of the famous high mountain pastures in Hainan region.
The vegetation of La Ji Mountain has obvious vertical distribution with various ecological types, including alpine meadows, alpine wetlands, alpine shrubs, mountain waist trees, and farmland below the mountain. The winter worm grass produced here is also very famous. The climate of La Ji Mountain is diverse, and different phenomena such as rain, snow, fog, haze, cloudy, sunny, hail, etc. can be experienced on the same day.
Here, the Hongshan Mouth pasture is a summer pasture, located in the central area at an altitude of 3746 meters, extending from the La Ji Mountain Pass to the watershed, south to Datancun. The grassland is flat, with abundant water sources, lush grass, flowers and plants in full bloom, and cows and sheep gathering together while the sounds of pastoral songs echo in the air. There is also a vast sky and leisurely white clouds, which is a summer resort that city people yearn for. Address Guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province
