Introduction
Tianzhu Mountain, located between the Yangtze and Huai Rivers, boasts a unique and beautiful natural landscape. It is named after its main peak, which stands tall like a pillar, and is the highest peak in the region. There are seven major scenic areas in the tourist attraction, including the highest peak, Tianzhu Peak, the mysterious valley, and the Zhongguan Fortress. The mysterious valley is famous as the first secret granite cave. In addition, Tianzhu Mountain is also a gathering place for ancient Anhui culture, preserving a large number of cliff inscriptions from literati and ink artists dating back to nearly 400 years ago, including the marks left by cultural celebrities such as Li Bai, Bai Juyi, Su Shi, and Wang Anshi. Although the transportation is not particularly convenient and the scenic area is not too large, it is a great destination that offers a tranquil atmosphere due to the relatively few tourists during weekdays outside of holidays and weekends.
