Introduction

The Rhododendron Lake, located 92 kilometers northeast of Arxan City in Arxan National Forest Park, covers an area of 128 hectares and is a flowing lake. The scenery is charming all year round, and the most stunning is the blooming of rhododendrons along the lake in spring, with trees and flowers interweaving and the lake shimmering with red and green colors. Wild ducks, cranes, and swans nest there, and loaches swim through looking for food. In summer, the lake is full of fragrant water lilies, like a water town in Jiangnan. In autumn, the lake is crystal clear like a mirror, and the surrounding forests are painted with a variety of colors, while the lake waves gleam with gold. In winter, the lake freezes over, covered in silver and looks crystal clear, becoming an excellent place for natural ice skating. What's even more fascinating is that the lake is as smooth as a mirror in spring and autumn, forming completely different beautiful landscapes.

Transportation

1. Yiershi Airport is the closest airport to Arxan, about 17 kilometers away. After arriving at Yiershi by plane, tourists can transfer to a bus to Arxan. 2. Arxan has a train station, and currently there are four round-trip trains stopping at BaiCheng and Shenyang North every day. 3. Arxan currently has a bus station, and there are buses to and from Arxan bus station from several surrounding cities, such as Ulanhot. After arriving in Arxan city, tourists can take a taxi or charter a car to the scenic area. The scenic transportation in the forest park goes to various attractions.
