Introduction

The Wuliu Fire Memorial Hall in the Daxing'an Mountains was built to commemorate the huge forest fire that occurred on May 6, 1987. Through various methods such as pictures, texts, physical models, and situational simulations, the memorial displays the entire process of the fire from outbreak to extinguishing, as well as the entire reconstruction and ecological construction process. The venue showcases scenes of 50,000 firefighters fighting bravely against the flames for 28 days and portrays the local people's efforts to rebuild their homes and their unwavering willpower in the aftermath of the disaster.
