Mount Kinabalu National Park was listed as a World Heritage site in 2000. The park, located at an elevation of 152-4095 meters, is one of the famous tourist attractions in Sabah. Along the way, there are stalls selling local indigenous products where you can buy souvenirs at a special cheap price. Climbing Mount Kinabalu requires obtaining a climbing permit and every eight new climbers are required to hire a guide for their safety.

KAWA mangrove forest is one of the three major mangrove forest routes in Kota Kinabalu (the other two are Klias mangrove forest and Weston mangrove forest), known for its mudflat sunset. Many agents in Kota Kinabalu offer day trips to the mangrove forest, where you can also enjoy the sunset, spot proboscis monkeys, and observe fireflies at night. KAWA was developed later than Klias, and its original ecological state is relatively well-preserved, with a relatively larger number of fireflies.

POMPOM Island is located on the east coast of Sabah, on the Celebes Sea in East Malaysia. It is about 40 minutes by boat from Semporna Jetty and is adjacent to the world-class diving destination, Sipadan. POMPOM Island is a peaceful paradise. There are four types of accommodation: water villas, beach chalets, garden rooms, and deluxe rooms. The diving environment is excellent, and if you're lucky, you can even see sea turtles while snorkeling near the shore.

Madajing Island is located in the northern part of Mabu Island and is an ideal place for underwater photographers, beginner and intermediate divers to enjoy the fun of deep-sea diving. The diverse and beautiful coral reefs are one of the highlights of Madajing Island. There is only one hotel on the island, which provides three meals a day and afternoon tea, with cuisine that suits Chinese tastes, mainly fried or grilled dishes. There are many colorful marine animals in the sea, and you can see large turtles and various schools of fish while snorkeling. The service staff on the island are very friendly, and there are a few staff members who can speak Chinese, so you can ask for their help with anything.

Mabul Island is one of the top destinations for "muck diving" in the world, located near Sipadan Island about a 15-minute boat ride away. The island is shaped like an egg and is home to a large number of marine life, including various species of shrimp gobies such as the fire dart goby, blackfin goby, and goldflake goby. The island is also abundant with colorful and large-sized clownfish. In addition to several dive resorts, there is also a nearby offshore lodge that was converted from an oil rig, providing a unique accommodation experience.
There are three resorts on Mabul Island, namely Sipadan Water Village, Sipadan Mabul Resort, and Mabul Water Bungalow. Sipadan Water Village and Mabul Water Bungalow are both over-water accommodations, while Sipadan Mabul Resort is built within a coconut grove.

The whole island is a volcano protruding from the sea. There is only one hotel on the island. There is no beach, only a small stretch of sand appears during low tide. The water near the hotel is shallow, suitable for snorkeling. The seabed gradually slopes outward. There is a cliff about 10 meters away, approximately 300 meters deep.
