Introduction
Mabul Island is an egg-shaped small island that connects to Sipadan Island, located in one of the world's top "muck diving" spots. There are abundant marine creatures living in the sea area here, including various species of shrimp gobies such as the red banded shrimp goby, blackish shrimp goby, and golden goby. Large and colorful frogfish can be seen wandering around the seabed, making it a remarkable sight. Other than three diving resorts, there is also an offshore lodge converted from an oil rig that provides an exotic accommodation experience. Sipadan Water Village and Mabul Water Bungalow are two overwater accommodations while Sipadan Mabul Resort is located in a coconut grove, presenting a different landscape.
