Introduction

The temple of Genghis Khan blends the architectural features of the Mongolian, Han and Tibetan ethnic groups, adopting the central-axis symmetrical layout of ancient Chinese architecture. The main body of the building has a domed square shape, with green hats and white walls, showcasing typical Mongolian and Tibetan architectural characteristics. Built facing south, the temple is shaped like the character "mountain," with a 28-meter-high main hall in the center and two flanking halls that are 16.62 meters high, all of which have nine pointed roofs.
