Introduction
Dousha Pass is located 15 kilometers southwest of Yanjin County, with the 213 National Highway passing by it. It is the main transportation hub for Sichuan entering Yunnan, and an important passage in the Qin and Han dynasties known as the "Five Foot Road". The cliff carvings are located on huge rocks, with a dangerous terrain below and a precarious cliff on the opposite side. It is like two big gates, guarding the passage in hand, and was known as "Shimen Pass" in the Sui and Tang dynasties.
