Dadong Bamboo Sea
Dadong Bamboo Sea mainly consists of Panzhou Dadong and Yunshang Bamboo Sea. The most astonishing feature is that the bamboo in this 30,000-acre bamboo forest is almost uniformly thick and tall. The view from above is especially spectacular. Local residents use bamboo as a raw material for traditional papermaking, clear bamboo root water, fragrant bamboo root wine, and delicious all-bamboo feasts, making this place a secret haven for leisure and wellness.
Wumeng Grassland
Wumeng Grassland, known as 'Panshan Grassland' by the people of Panzhou, is the highest and largest plateau grassland in the southwest region. It is also an important part of the Wumeng Mountain National Geopark. The relative height difference between the plain area and the Pingdi Yi Ethnic Township is about one thousand meters, creating a unique landscape where you can 'enjoy flowers in spring, step on grass in summer, observe Buddha's light in autumn, and play in the snow in winter.'
Beipanjiang Grand Canyon
Beipanjiang Grand Canyon is famous for its karst and Danxia landforms. The winding river flows like a giant dragon through the forest peaks, combining the beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River with the grandeur of the Grand Canyon in the United States. In the deep valley, there are cultural landscapes such as iron chain bridges, cliff carvings, and ancient post roads. Walking on the iron chain bridge, the slight swaying sensation is exhilarating.
Zangke River
Located in Liuzhi Special District, the river water gushes out from the mountains and valleys, washing over rocks to form unique landscapes. It is slightly more temperate than the mountains, giving the area a tropical sugarcane forest ambiance, earning it the nickname 'Little Hainan of Liupanshui.' Besides its sunny and picturesque scenery, Wuwu River is a prime spot for paragliding. The altitude difference between peaks like Laowang Mountain and Jiuceng Mountain and the Wuwu River surface is over 500 meters. Looking up, the sky is filled with colorful paragliders. Running down the slope with a paraglider, the lake view of Wujin River beneath your feet, the feeling of soaring in the air is truly exhilarating.
