Introduction

The main peak scenic area of Dabie Mountains is known for its diverse terrain, interlaced canyons, lakes, and waterfalls. Its unique geographical location gave Dabie Mountains military strategic value during the Republic of China period for the important cities of Nanjing and Wuhan. In modern Chinese history, it was also the geographical basis for the Liu-Deng army's attack on Dabie Mountains. Today, the main peak scenic area of Dabie Mountains has been designated by the National Land Resources Department as the Bai Majian Park of the Dabie Mountains National Geological Park.

Transportation

There are currently three transportation routes available from Huoshan County to Baimajian Scenic Area. The first is to take Provincial Road S318 to Manshuihe Town, then turn onto Provincial Road S209 to Taiyang Township, and then take County Road X071 to Baimajian Scenic Area. The second is to take Provincial Road S318 to Lutushipu and turn onto County Road X067 to Dahua Ping Town, then turn onto County Road X066 to Qinfengling Village, and then take County Road X071 to Baimajian Scenic Area. The third is to take the Huoshan-Shanghai Expressway G35 towards Qianshan, then take the exit at Shiguan and go through Huangwei Toll Station to County Road X084 towards Huangwei. After passing through Huangwei Town, turn onto County Road X069 and go through Hu Jiahe Township to Mozi Tan Town, then turn onto County Road X071 to Baimajian Scenic Area.
