Introduction

Every summer, the region connecting Qilian Mountains and grasslands is covered in white snow, while the grasslands are adorned with groups of cattle, horses, and sheep amidst the waving green waves. Qilian Mountains is a mountain range with an altitude between 4000 to 5000 meters. Its high altitude snow forms magnificent glacier landscapes. In the shallow snow of the mountains, there is a biologic resembling mushrooms called snow mountain meadow plants, as well as precious medicinal herbs such as high mountain snow lotus and snow mountain grass. Located in this flat terrain with abundant water and grass resources, it is the site of Shan Dan Military Horse Farm, the largest ranch in the Far East that has received much attention from both domestic and foreign countries.
