Introduction
Howrah Bridge is one of the iconic buildings in Kolkata, built during the Second World War and is one of the busiest bridges in the world. The bridge is 705 meters long and has a cantilever design made of reinforced steel. About 150,000 people and 100,000 vehicles pass through the bridge every day. The Mulik Ghat flower market on the other side of the Howrah railway station is one of the best places to enjoy the beautiful view of the bridge.
