This morning, you can visit the Zhebanci Temple in the northwest of Lhasa City. As most temples are closed in the afternoon, it's best to arrive at 9am. At noon, you can go to the Nianre Folk Garden to enjoy Tibetan cuisine and take part in some activities. In the afternoon, make sure to arrive at the Sera Temple before 3pm to watch the Tibetan style Buddhist debate (which is not held on Sundays and special holidays), and then continue your tour of the Sera Temple.

Today's destination is the largest lake in Tibet, the highest saltwater lake in the world, and a sacred place for pilgrims - Namtso Lake. It takes about 4.5 hours to travel one way from Lhasa to Namtso, passing through the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains and Nagela Pass, with stops for sightseeing. You can choose a one-day or two-day tour to Namtso, with the one-day itinerary covering all the essential scenic spots but being a bit rushed, while the two-day itinerary is more leisurely and allows you to enjoy the magnificent starry sky and sunrise of Namtso, but the accommodation and dining options near the lake are generally limited and expensive.

Today we recommend visiting the holy lake of Sijin Laco, where the "King of Wealthy Dragons" resides. Sijin Laco is located in the southeast of Rido Township, Mozhugongka County and north of Zengqi Township, Sangri County, at an altitude of 4500 meters, about 6 kilometers from the Sichuan-Tibet Highway (National Highway 318). Its name means "powerful holy lake" in Tibetan, and the terrain is like a treasure plate, surrounded by mountains. Every year on the 15th day of the sixth month of the Tibetan calendar, the Panchen Lama, Dalai Lama, and Zhigong Living Buddha come to Sijin Laco to worship and offer gold and silver treasures to thank the lake. It is recommended to prepare some food for a picnic by the lake, and visit the birthplace of Songtsen Gampo in Mozhu Gongka on the way back.
