Introduction

The Hongshan Military Horse Farm is located in the core area of the Ulunbu Tolgoi ancient battlefield in the southwest of Keshiketeng Banner, adjacent to the Saikhanba Mechanized Forest Farm in Hebei Province, and near the Hunshandake Desert. It is known for the historical battle during the reign of Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, as well as its beautiful European-style grassland scenery. Situated at the intersection of hills and plains, the forest and grassland blend together, making it a picturesque spot all year round. The Hongshan Military Horse Farm is also a great place for photography and film shooting. In addition, visitors can go horseback riding on the grassland, search for ancient war relics, join the fun bonfire party, and taste authentic roasted lamb. Please note that the temperature difference between morning and night can be large on grasslands, so warm clothing is necessary regardless of when you visit, especially in autumn and winter.
