Wulanbutong Grassland, also known as Weichang Bashang, is located in Xiaohongshanzi Gacha, Ulanbutong Sumu, Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In ancient times, it was the ancient battlefield where the Qing Dynasty Emperor Kangxi battled against Galdan, the leader of the Dzungar tribe in Western Mongolia. It is also known as a place with excellent Feng Shui, a highly contested strategic location throughout history. Additionally, since the Liao Dynasty, it has been a summer resort and hunting ground for the Liao emperors. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it became the world's largest royal hunting ground and was known as the "Mulansichuan" or "Mulansichuan Hunting Ground".
