The Shabawan Jinglong Oceanarium is located in the Shabawan town of Yangxi, a beach resort area. It is the only large-scale oceanarium in the Yangjiang region and serves as a multi-functional exhibition hall for entertainment, observation, and science education. With a total area of nearly 2,000 square meters and an investment of nearly 5 million RMB, the Jinglong Oceanarium consists of two areas: showcasing the underwater world of marine animals and providing interactive activities for children related to the ocean. Visitors can enjoy various attractions inside the oceanarium such as the colorful coral underwater world, a tunnel where one can feel like dancing with dolphins, a scene of fierce shark hunting, a jellyfish area, and the sight of a hundred-year-old sea turtle swimming freely among deep sea reefs. There are also rare fish species from Southeast Asian waters, such as clownfish which are cute and lively, as well as frightening devil fish and strange-looking stonefish. In addition, visitors can participate in fun activities such as feeding fish in the fish pond, catching fish in the adult and children's fish ponds, visiting the turtle pond, the beach cavalry sand sculptures, and the Golden Threadfin. Tonggu Ridge is located in Longlou Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province. It is the easternmost point of Hainan Island (the newly built national aerospace launch site is in this area). Legend has it that a stone on Tonggu Ridge can be moved by the wind, and when struck, it makes a sound like a copper drum. The mountain is not very high, only 338 meters, but it has a majestic and abrupt feeling due to the relatively flat surrounding land, and is known as the first peak in Qiongdong. From Tonggu Ridge, turning right and walking for about ten minutes is Moon Bay. Moon Bay is a stretch of white waves, extending for several kilometers. Standing among the blue sky, white clouds, green mountains, and blue water, the visual experience is broad and magnificent. This time, I was lucky with the weather throughout the outdoor shoot. I have been to Tonggu Ridge and Moon Bay many times, but I never encountered good weather. While misty weather has its own charm, this time returning to Tonggu Ridge and getting closer to Moon Bay, the blue sky and white clouds reflecting on the green mountains and blue water brought even more joy. Unfortunately, amidst the beautiful scenery, there are some disharmonious notes, such as the oil pollution left by fishing boats and the sewage from high-level shrimp farms flowing into the clear Moon Bay with the rise and fall of the sea. This is truly unimaginable! The harmony between humans and nature is of utmost importance in this picturesque scenery.
