A nearby farmhouse is really nice. I will come again if I have the chance. The owner of the shop made salt-baked fresh lotus root, which tasted really delicious. They often give us some, very fragrant and delicious. There are many vegetables and fruit trees in the courtyard, and the shop owner let us pick and eat them freely. They are very fresh and even gave us a few apples. The fresh fish, stewed in a large iron pot, is very delicious. The four-pound big fish is cooked in a home-style way, and it tastes very fragrant when cooked with firewood. Fried pork and scrambled eggs in fresh lotus leaves are both homemade dishes and very fragrant.

Liaobin Ancient City and Liaobin Pagoda are the ruins of a thousand-year-old ancient city. Located at the confluence of the Liao River and Xiuwater River, this ancient city was a famous ferry and transportation hub in ancient times, as well as a contested military stronghold. As early as the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it had become an important military town. The Liao Dynasty was the most prosperous period in its history, with the rulers promoting its prosperity by establishing the Liaozhou capital here and welcoming a large number of immigrants from Jizhou. However, prolonged warfare later resulted in severe destruction of this once-thriving ancient city.
