The Jinbianxi Scenic Area is located in the eastern part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and is named after the Jinbianxi stream which flows through Jinbian Rock and meets Piping Stream to the west and Suo Stream to the east. There are numerous attractions on both sides of the stream, including Jinbian Rock, Shenying Hubian, Wenxing Rock, Zicao Pool, Qianli Xianghui, and Tiaoyutan. Jinbian Rock is named after the Shenying Hubian, which is one of the "Top Ten Scenic Spots in Zhangjiajie" and is a winding and deep canyon. The Jinbianxi stream has been hailed as the most beautiful scenic area in Wulingyuan, winding through peaks and valleys, with clear water, diverse scenery, and small fish swimming in it. Walking along the stream, you can enjoy the lush flowers and plants, bird songs and fragrance, as if stepping into a painting. Therefore, Jinbianxi is known as "one of the most beautiful gorges in the world."

The mountain was named after the Ming dynasty leader of the Tujia ethnic group, "Xiang Wang Tianzi". The highest point of Tianzi Mountain is about 1262.5 meters above sea level, while the lowest point is about 534 meters above sea level. Visitors can enjoy the four major scenic spots of clouds, moonlit nights, sunrises and winter snow. Billions of years ago, Tianzi Mountain was once a vast ocean, and after complex and lengthy geological changes, unique geological landscapes such as the Yubi Peak were formed.
