Introduction

Ubud Water Palace (Saraswati Temple) is one of the most beautiful temples in Bali. In front of the temple, you will see a pond filled with lotus flowers, gently swaying in the wind, bringing a sense of tranquility. One of the reasons why the temple is loved by visitors is because it perfectly combines purple and golden flower carvings with exquisite goddess statues. This is the abode of Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and arts, and all the carvings of the goddess are portrayed with grace. Additionally, every Thursday evening, traditional Balinese dance performances are held in the temple, which is definitely not to be missed. While enjoying the dance performance, you can also indulge in delicious food at the Lotus Cafe next to the temple.
