Introduction

Ram Raja Temple, also known as Orchha Temple, is a Hindu pilgrimage site that attracts about 650,000 domestic devotees and 25,000 foreign tourists each year. Originally a palace, it was transformed into a temple when an idol of Lord Rama was accidentally brought in and it could not be moved thereafter.
