Introduction

Abhaneri Stepwell, located near Jaipur, was built in the 10th century and has a history of over 1200 years. It is one of the deepest stepwells in India, with 13 floors and 3500 steps. The stepwell is shaped like an inverted pyramid, shrinking inward with no partitions in the middle, leading straight to the underground. Currently, tourists cannot reach the bottom of the well, but it is incredible that this well was built 1200 years ago and is still intact, performing its complete function.
