Introduction

On April 25, 2015, a magnitude 8.1 earthquake destroyed the stone temple. The temple was similar in appearance to the Kresna temple in Patan, with two stone elephant carvings on either side of the steps and a clock built in the early 18th century nearby. The damage caused by the earthquake was severe, and the site has completely collapsed.
