Introduction

Bhaktapur is one of the three ancient kingdoms in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, located about 14 kilometers from the city center of Kathmandu. The city was built in the 12th century and reached its peak from the 14th to the 16th century, with nearly 200 temples at that time. Today, this simple red brick town appears more tranquil and old-fashioned due to its distance from the city center of Kathmandu. It is recommended for tourists to consider staying here for one or two nights if they have enough time.
