Introduction

Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is located offshore of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and consists of five islands, with Gaya Island being the largest and most popular. Here, you can find beautiful beaches, clear waters, and a diverse range of coral and marine life. The islands are also home to rare amphibians in their jungles. Visitors can enjoy activities such as parasailing, banana boat rides, snorkeling, scuba diving, and beach BBQ. If you're interested in PADI diving, you can make a reservation at a diving center in Kota Kinabalu. Rare creatures like the scorpion fish, blue-spotted stingray, mantis shrimp, hawksbill turtle, and barracuda can be spotted here. Additionally, from November to February, there is a massive bloom of plankton, attracting krill, which in turn brings whale sharks, making it a season not to be missed by visitors. With a short boat ride of only 15 to 20 minutes, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of this marine park.
