Introduction

The Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, located on the shores of Likas Bay, is one of the finest examples of contemporary Islamic architecture and one of the most magnificent mosques in Malaysia. Completed in 1997, the mosque can accommodate 9,720 to 12,000 worshippers. Its beautiful design blends seamlessly with the blue sky, creating a breathtaking sight. With its serene and solemn exterior, the mosque offers a sense of tranquility, making it an ideal spot for sunset viewing. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful cityscape under the setting sun.
