Introduction

Pingtian Town is located in the eastern part of Nanxiong City, Guangdong Province and is known as the "hometown of ginkgo trees". The town preserves over 5,000 ancient ginkgo trees that are over 100 years old and produces hundreds of tons of ginkgo nuts annually. In the autumn, the ancient ginkgo trees in Pingtian Town turn golden yellow, which can be admired in places such as Aobei, Jingdong, Jiangtang, Wangtang, and Junyingzhai. Many photography, art, and literature enthusiasts from both inside and outside the province come here for inspiration, making the "ginkgo trees turning golden in autumn" a new highlight of tourism in Nanxiong during the fall and winter.
