Three Gully Mysterious Valley
Recommend going to Conghua Liuxi Bamboo Shoot Festival, enter the core area of the festival, Sanjiatang Valley, and be greeted by the fresh air of the subtropical mountain rainforest. The bamboo here has been growing for over a century, covering an area of 100,000 mu, making it the largest bamboo plantation in Guangzhou. There are more than 20 varieties of bamboo, including moso bamboo, phyllostachys edulis, hedge bamboo, and root bamboo. For foodies, the highlight is definitely the special bamboo shoot feast. Purple perilla and bamboo shoots stewed with river prawns, steamed salted pork with bamboo shoots, Sichuan-style bacon stir-fried with bamboo shoots, stir-fried pork belly with bamboo shoots and pickled cabbage, bamboo shoot fish head soup... Each dish contains bamboo shoots, with a fresh and crispy texture that is truly delightful. Rucheng
There are mountain ranges, forests and waterfall clusters with Danxia landforms, as well as natural hot springs, among which the Feishuizhai waterfall clusters are the most spectacular in the surrounding area of Danxia Mountain. Going up along the river, the cliffs of the canyon are towering, and the stream is clear and sweet. The ethnic ancient village, thousands of acres of bamboo sea, glacier canyon, and primitive forest are all colorful. Self-driving route: Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway (Shaoguan section) → Transfer to Shaoguan-Ganzhou Expressway → Danxia exit → Through Danxia Mountain → Renhua County → Chengkou Town → Turn right to Sanjiangkou Town for about 30 km, the journey is about 300 kilometers, and the driving time is about 4.5 hours.
Meizhou Yinna Mountain
Yinna Mountain in Meizhou, known as the first spiritual mountain in eastern Guangdong, is renowned for its iconic Wuzhi Peak and its thousand acres of tea fields, the highest in Meizhou. Taking a stroll through the tea fields, breathing in the aroma, and listening to the beautiful legends of "Sanjue of Lingguang" and "Fried and Ripe Fish"; gazing at the undulating mountains, feels like being in another world. Self-driving route: Guangzhou Ring Expressway - Guanghe Expressway - Changshen Expressway - S223 - Meizhou, about 450 kilometers in total, approximately 7 hours.
