The Chinese Yi Ethnic Culture Park is located in Chuxiong, Yunnan Province, China. It is a beautiful and magical place where the Yi people, one of the oldest ethnic groups in Chinese history, have created a unique national culture and astronomy calendar known as the Yi People's October Sun Calendar over thousands of years. This scientific and exquisite calendar accurately calculates the time that the earth revolves around the sun, setting 36 days in each month and 360 days in a year, with 5-6 days added for the New Year celebrations. Its accuracy is unmatched by any ancient calendar. The Chinese Yi Ethnic Culture Park is a dynamic museum and park for showcasing and inheriting the rich cultural heritage of the Yi ethnic group, covering over 500 acres in the suburbs of Chuxiong. It brings together the essence of Yi culture, showcasing the charm and value of ethnic culture and providing a unique experience of Yi customs and the natural beauty of the ancient city. It is a beautiful new scene of the fusion of the ancient city of Chuxiong and the Yi ethnic culture in China.
