Introduction

The Yulong Shahu International Ecological and Cultural Tourist Area is located on the western edge of the Horqin Sandy Land, in Wudan Town, Inner Mongolia's Chifeng City. It is known as the most beautiful desert echo tourism area and is about 500 kilometers away from Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang and other first-tier cities. The tourist area was rated as a national AAAA ecological tourist attraction in 2013. Its historical origins can be traced back to 1971 when the famous Hemudu culture artifact "Huaxia First Dragon" was unearthed here, pushing China's ancient civilization history back more than a thousand years. The tourist area was named "Yulong Shahu" because of this discovery.
