Chifeng City Museum
The architecture features Tang Dynasty style. The entire museum has four basic exhibition halls, namely Hongshan Culture, Bronze Culture, Khitan Culture, and Mongolian Folk Culture.
Cheber Folk Park
Cheber was the empress of Kublai Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty. She was an outstanding female politician in Chinese history, born into a Mongolian noble family in Chifeng. She assisted Kublai Khan in handling many difficult state affairs and was also the founder of the standardized Mongolian attire.
Mongolian Origin Sculpture Park
The sculpture park organically combines multiple elements such as folk sculptures, architectural miniatures, cultural landscape walls, and plant landscapes. With its perfect spatial layout, it forms a colorful scroll that integrates Mongolian history, culture, economy, figures, and ethnic customs. The park has won the Luban Prize for Chinese Construction Engineering.
Hongshan National Forest Park
Hongshan National Forest Park is advantageously located, with dense natural secondary forests and a rich variety of vegetation types. The park is characterized by its unique peaks and cliffs, beautiful natural scenery, and good ecological environment, all of which contribute to its distinctive tourism resources. The forest park is home to a variety of vegetation, mainly including black pine, spruce, larch, poplar, willow, elm, oak, and birch. In addition, there are various medicinal plants and wild animals, with more than 80 kinds of medicinal herbs, various edible fungi, and edible plants. The main medicinal herbs include astragalus, codonopsis, bupleurum, chrysanthemum, peony, and rhubarb. The main edible plants and fungi include mushrooms, black fungus, bracken, daylily, and chives, all of which are wild health foods.
