Introduction

Mount Suxian is located about 2 kilometers northeast of the Chengzhou city center. It was originally called Niupi Mountain and is not particularly high in elevation. Legend has it that a person named Sudan disappeared mysteriously here in ancient times, so the mountain was named after him. Mount Suxian combines mythology, beautiful scenery, and historical relics, making it a tourist attraction known as the "18th blessed place in the world" and a popular destination for local residents to hike and relax on weekends.
From the foot of the mountain to the top, tourists can visit many scenic spots, including Tao Hua Ju, Bai Lu Cave, San Jue Monument, Jing Xing Guan, Ba Zi Ming, Chen Xiang Shi, and Suxian Guan. Tao Hua Ju is the starting point for hiking, surrounded by bamboo forests and facing the Tao Hua Shui stream, with beautiful scenery. According to legend, Bai Lu Cave was the place where a white deer nursed Sudan when he was a child. From Bai Lu Cave, following the stone steps, travelers will reach the monument pavilion after about 100 meters, where they can see "San Jue Monument" written by Mi Fu, including Qin Guan's "Step On The Sha River · Chengzhou Inn" and Su Shi's postscript to the poem. This is a popular destination for local residents to hike and relax on weekends. Address 2 Suixian North Road, Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province
