The Peng Dehuai Memorial Hall is located at the foot of Shifeng Village in Wushi Town, Xiangtan County, Hunan Province. The former residence was built in 1925, with a brick and wood structure, white walls and green tiles, typical of the Jiangnan style farmhouse. The former residence has been inhabited by his younger brothers Jinhua and Ronghua, and is therefore called "Sanhua Hall". Peng Dehuai returned to his hometown twice in 1958 and 1961, and stayed here for 34 days during his investigation in 1961. He received more than 2,000 cadres and masses who came to visit and wrote five rural investigation materials for the reference of the CCP Hunan Provincial Committee.

Fuhou Hall was established in the fourth year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1865). The entire complex includes the half-moon pond in front of the gate, the gate tower, the main hall, the public office, the Pu office, the Fang office, three library buildings, a lotus pond, the Niaohè Tower in the back mountain, a chess pavilion, and the Cunpu Pavilion. It occupies an area of over 40,000 square meters and has a building area of 10,000 square meters. In 2006, it was announced as the sixth batch of national key cultural relic protection units by the State Council.
