Introduction
Six Chi Lane is an ancient road located in the southwest of Tongcheng City, Anhui Province. It is 100 meters long, 2 meters wide, and was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. "Li Rang" (meaning "yielding to others") is engraved on two stone archways at both ends of the lane. A historical anecdote, known as the "Wall Poem," took place here and has been passed down through the ages. According to historical records, Zhang Wenrui's neighbor, Mrs. Wu, encroached upon public land and he wrote a letter of protest, which he affixed to the wall. Eventually, the neighbor removed the encroaching portion, which led to the naming of the lane as "Six Chi Lane." On November 21, 2006, State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan visited the site and wrote the inscription: "Tongcheng Six Chi Lane, a harmonious and renowned city." Since then, it has been rated as a national 3A-level tourist attraction, highlighting its important historical value. Address Tongcheng City, Anhui Province
