Introduction

Rongbuk Monastery, also known as "Rongbuk Glacier Nunnery," is a Nyingma Buddhist monastery in Tibet deeply integrated with local traditional culture. Both monks and nuns live together in the monastery. The monastery is located at the end of the Rongbuk Glacier at the northern foot of Mount Everest, with an altitude of 5,154 meters, approximately 20 kilometers from the summit of Mount Everest.
