Introduction

The Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall, located at No. 2 Woliong Hutong in Liaoyang City, is built on the basis of the Qing Dynasty architecture of Wugong Mansion. It is a unique building and has become a city-level cultural relic protection unit. The memorial hall is a courtyard with two entrances and four sides, with 21 hard mountain tile houses, and a statue of Cao Xueqin in the courtyard. Different exhibition rooms display rich documentary materials related to the Cao family history, Cao Yin's poems, Cao's genealogy, and Qing palace archives. In addition, it also collects multiple versions of Dream of the Red Chamber, as well as a series of famous calligraphy and paintings based on the content of the novel. The entire exhibition hall is a Qing Dynasty architecture, and each exhibition room has unique couplets. The front door is hung with a gold plaque with the words "Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall" inscribed by the famous Redology expert Feng Qiyong.
