Introduction

Liaoyang Guangyou Temple, which was established during the Eastern Han Dynasty, is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in China and the center for Buddhist cultural dissemination in Northeast China. Guangyou Temple played an important role in establishing the political and cultural center status in Northeast China. After several renovations and expansions, Guangyou Temple has become a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, one of the top ten tourist attractions in Liaoning Province, a top ten integrity tourist attraction, and a model unit for integrity tourist attractions, and has successfully obtained the ISO 900 and Environment 14001 international system certification.

Transportation
There are direct buses to Guangyou Temple from the front of Liaoyang Railway Station. It is suggested to walk there since it is relatively close to the railway station.
