Tongtian Yan is a treasure of ancient southern grotto art, including 279 stone niches and 359 stone-carved sculptures, which is the largest stone niche group in Jiangxi. Most of these sculptures appeared in the Tang and Song dynasties, and they are all Buddhist gods and goddesses, with different expressions and exquisite beauty, which are the essence of ancient stone carving art.
